JAM DC's second annual Passover Seder for Jewish and Muslim young professionals in the nation's capital will be a time to reflect on the themes of slavery, freedom, rebellion, sacrifice, and all the themes that a traditional Passover seder entails. This year, our seder will also celebrate the JAM DC community by interweaving traditional elements of the ceremony with Muslim poems, texts, and prayers. This event will be participatory, interactive, and hopefully illuminating. The event will be on Wednesday, April 3 at Dino Restaurant in Cleveland Park, and will include a full, delicious meal that is generously sponsored by the Embassy of Azerbaijan. Tickets are $8 and all proceeds will be donated to the Capital Food Bank. We encourage you to arrive starting at 6:30 pm, but please note that the seder will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.
