Make It Compulsory For Secondary Schools To Be Taught About Suicide/Self Harm

I strongly believe that there is not enough awareness on suicide and self harm. There are millions of people out there who suffer from depression which leads to people attempting suicide and self harming. I believea a large percentage of these problems begins in pressure at school & bullying so if there was more awareness and less ignorance about this and I really do believe that this would be a great idea to help people understand what those with depression go though. Self harm gets looked down upon and a lot of people recieve hate for this which makes them feel even more singled out and alone so please help me in my attempt to make it compulsory for this subject to be compulsory to be taught at school even if it is just a 1 hour lesson a week. Not just about the cause, the reasons, but the ways you can get help. How o cope with it & to make them feel better. Thank you

We are being harrassed with probably 10 to 15 politial ads on each broadcast station each hour. The same commericals over and over again.  And this time it's for a race not even in my state. Let's limit these ads to only one per hour for each candiate.

The Bank of America with the assitance of the Federal Reserve has participated in over 800,000 illegal foreclosures causing many to file bankruptcy and  committ suicide. The federal government is blocking all avenues for retribution against this bank who has broken every legal statute using forged documents unpaid title transfer fees (County) and compromising the integrity of the Courts.  Many Veterans, including the sponsor of the petition, a decorated, disabled Marine Vietnam Veteran has been under a seige by this bank for two years when the Bank was confronted with substantial due process violations. Bring Bombshell to Broadway Across America

The two season run of SMASH, a show revolving around a group of characters creating new Broadway musicals where everyone must balance his or her often chaotic personal life with the all-consuming demands of life in the theater, ends on May 26, 2013. The show loosely portrays the life of Marylyn Monroe.

Critics and fans of the show alike are drawn to the extraordinary musical productions that form the basis for the weekly musical-drama television series.

If television brass isn’t able to see the value of such creative, smart television programming instead opting for more mind numbing reality-TV scheduling, then perhaps it is time to cancel SMASH. I propose that the formula would lend itself splendidly to live musical theatre.

Let’s continue to keep Bombshell alive. Won't you join me in signing this petition to urge the producers of SMASH to bring it to Broadway Across America.

Justice for Luis Marin

Our father, Luis Marin, has been wrongfully accused of making a terrorist threat, when he did what any concerned citizen would do if he/she ever encountered a suspicious package, notified the authorities. We have always been told by police officials to contact them immediately in case of an emergency. Never have we been told that we would be held accountable for the emergency we were trying to report or prevent. It is a scary thought to think that citizens will now second guess their duty to report a crime because of fear of being linked to the crime itself. Our father did the right thing and is now being punished for it. Please help us clear his name and bring justice to our family.

should stop the action of right-winged Japanese politicians on territorial and military provocations

It is inappropriate as well as unacceptable for the United States Department of Defense to point an accusing finger at China over the Diaoyu Islands dispute.
Japan has been raising tensions with China over the islands, and the US' stance could have a negative impact on regional stability, as it could embolden increasingly right-winged Japanese politicians to go even further with unwarranted territorial and military provocations.
 
The US has said on many occasions that it does not take sides in the Diaoyu Islands disputes, but the Pentagon report lays bare the US' inconsistency in its position. As China takes territorial integrity as a core interest, it would be a miscalculation to think that China will compromise its territorial integrity under pressure from the outside.
 China holds irrefutable evidence for its sovereignty over the disputed islands, and its announcement of the base points and baselines of the territorial waters of the islands and their affiliated islets is fully justified and lawful.

Companion animals suffer abandonnment frequently on military bases because there is no cohesive policy throughout the services providing for animals during permanent change of service (PCS) Many feral cats discarded by their families are cared for by trap,neuter, return and manage (TNRM) volunteers. National Day of Prayer... Changing to National Day of Recognition! REALLY! We didn't stand up when they wanted to take prayer out of school. Look where we are today. Shootings in schools and universities, bombings, and terrorist acts. Then people want to say where was God? Let me tell you where God was...He was standing outside knocking on the door to come in but we wouldn't allow it. Sportsmen are denied the right to do acts of Christianity on the football field or even mention Christ. But the player standing next to him can announce that he is gay and our President comes out to praise him for his courage! This is appalling to me. Then just today, a track team won a race, but because someone pointed up to heaven, they were disqualified. It is time for Christians to take a stand. No more ripping us of our freedom to stand up for our beliefs in the one who took our sins upon a cross, a debt He didn't owe but freely payed. Stand up American Christians.

As social media is increasing, it is being used for wron purposes. A website called CelebJihad is a website that shows nude images of celebrities and mentions the name of Allah. The person/s who owns this is a Muslim himself. I urge you all to pass this petition to every one as NUDE is being associated with ALLAH.

Everyone should urge their government to blame and stop Japan's provocative actions and US's bias to Japan.

Save lifes of Ukrainians in Libya!

On June 4, 2012 Libyan Military court heard case of Ukrainian citizens arrested in August 2011 by revolutionary brigade "Al-Kaakaa". The court recognised all group guilty of assistance to Kaddafi forces and sentenced 23 people to 10 years of imprisonment and 1 person to life imprisonment.

It is group of the civil technicians who arrived in Libya under civil contracts. Instead of that they were captured by Kaddafi forces and enforced under pain of death to perform a little time works on military technical equipment repair. They did not participate in military operations, did not take weapon in their hands, and did not battle for any fighting parties!!! They are hostages of a current situation!

Especially it is necessary to notice that these people arrived in Libya under lawful contracts of the international cooperation, and they are citizens of the countries, which had diplomatic relations with Libya.

This decision is based on the emotional impulse caused by heat and horrors of the armed antagonism. So that it is perceived by the international society as unfair and severe one.

We call you for not to stand aside, not to ignore people lots!

Almost all prisoners are older people; there are among them those who suffer chronic diseases. For two years of imprisonment they have already enough endured and suffered. It may be that, it is a sufficient penalty. Further custody can cause the most serious consequences for their health, considering extremely severe conditions and absence of regular medical aid.

Today your help is necessary more than ever! In questions that concern lives of people, it is necessary to be guided not only norms of international law, but also humanity, mercy and magnanimity! If we and you do not try to do the utmost for the fair decision, we will kill hope of the families. Really we do not become involved in this human tragedy!
